Hi, guys and gals!
So tomorrow at College will be the source of much excitement for me and my Beauty girlies, because it's only a bloody' non-uniform day and i'm wayyyy more excited about it then I should be, which is pretty sad. As a Beauty student who has to wear a sassy little purple number 3 days a week, non-uniform days such as this are quite rare... like glittery unicorns that can vomit Nutella whilst keyboard cat serenades said unicorn, whilst wearing a tiny sombrero rare. Mind blown? Damn right it is, but I digress...
The whole reason this non-uniform day is occurring is to raise money for the 'Jeans for Genes' charity which basically helps provide care and support for children with genetic disorders. The concept is pretty simple, wear a pair of jeans, or any other denim item of clothing and donate some money. Easy as that.
As a jean enthusiast and lover of all things denim, I wholeheartedly support this campaign!
For my look, i've opted for a more feminine take on my usual grungy/90's chic thang' i've got going on recently. Also, it's been unnaturally warm the past few days, so I wanted to keep it as minimal and light as possible.
Denim Pinafore Dress (Miss Selfridge). Striped Boyfriend Tee (Primark). Bowler Hat (Boohoo.com). Mini Satchel (Vintage). Strappy Boots (Unknown).
I'm still getting to know how this whole blog thing works, hence why this post is short and sweet for today :) Thank you so much for taking the time to have a little read!
Until next time...
K
xoxo
